Paste an API key

Create cards with document links on any list.

What you can do

No false success: every send/create in Trello is verified — ASHDOCS reads the item back from Trello's API before the step turns green. If it can't be found, the run fails honestly instead of pretending.

Get your Trello credentials

  1. 1Go to trello.com/power-ups/admin and create a (private) Power-Up to get an API key.
  2. 2On the key page, click the Token link to authorise and generate a user token.

Add the connection in ASHDOCS

  1. 1Open the Connections page in the flows console.
  2. 2Click “Connect with a key” and pick Trello.
  3. 3Paste: API key, Token. ASHDOCS validates the credentials against Trello before saving — a bad key is rejected with a plain-English reason, never stored.

Use it in a flow

In the flow builder, add the Trello step, pick your connection, and fill the fields — values from earlier steps drop in as {{s1.field}} placeholders. Then hit Test this step in the step's panel to run it on its own before switching the flow on.

Troubleshooting

“refused the card (401)”
Key and token must come from the same Power-Up/account pair — regenerate the token from the key's page.
Where's my list ID?
Open the board, add .json to its URL, and search for the list's name — copy its id.
