Terms of service.
This is the agreement between ASHDOCS and its customers. Last updated: 1 August 2026.
The service
ASHDOCS provides a REST API and web dashboard for document processing — conversion, editing, security and data extraction. It is offered to businesses and developers, as-is, on a credit-metered subscription. Features and limits per plan are listed on the pricing page.
Your account and API keys
You are responsible for activity under your account and keys. Keep keys secret, rotate them if exposed, and don't share one account across organizations. Don't use the service to process content you have no right to process, to violate law, or to probe or overload the platform.
Fees and payment
Paid plans bill monthly or annually through Razorpay. Usage is metered in credits; unused monthly credits do not roll over. Overage on eligible plans accrues at the published per-credit rate. You can cancel any time — access continues to the end of the paid period. Failed jobs are not charged.
Confidentiality and data
Your documents remain yours. We process them only to deliver the service, per the privacy policy and, for business customers, the DPA. Zero-retention mode is available on every request.
Warranties, liability, indemnity
The service is provided without warranty of uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ASHDOCS's aggregate liability is capped at the amounts you paid in the twelve months before the claim. Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential damages.
Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, abuse the platform, or create legal risk — with notice where practicable. On termination, stored job outputs are purged on their normal retention schedule and account data is deleted on request.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. Before either party files a claim, we ask that you contact ashwinmanikandan@ashdocs.com so we can attempt to resolve the matter in good faith.
