Frequently asked questions.
What counts as a credit?
One successful operation. HTML→PDF, merge, split and other simple tools cost 1 credit; OCR, pdf-to-data, and bank statement extraction cost 1–3 credits (some editing tools like rotate, extract-pages, remove-pages and metadata cost 0 credits — they're free operations). Failed jobs are never charged. Sandbox operations never consume credits or count toward your extraction allowance on any tier.
How much does SHYLA, the AI flow assistant, cost?
Drafting is free. SHYLA turning your plain-language description (and any attached Excel, PDF or PowerPoint files) into a working flow costs nothing, and so do follow-up refinements — a flow only uses credits when it actually runs live, and sandbox runs stay free too. Support questions are always free. On the Free plan there's an anti-abuse cap of 20 AI drafts per month; paid plans have no draft cap. Pricing may change as SHYLA leaves beta.
What happens when I run out?
Free tier stops with an upgrade prompt (no card needed). Paid tiers keep serving — overage is billed at the tier rate at period end. You're notified at 80% of your allowance and again at 100%, and the accrued overage shows live in your dashboard so there are never surprise invoices.
Do unused credits roll over?
No. Credits reset on your billing anniversary each month. If you consistently hit the ceiling, upgrading is cheaper than overage at every boundary.
Can I change plans anytime?
Yes. Upgrades and downgrades take effect immediately, pro-rated. Downgrading never revokes existing API keys or team members — it only blocks creating new ones until you're under the new limits.
Is there a free trial?
The free tier is permanent — no credit card required, no trial expiry. Signup issues a sandbox API key immediately for evaluation.
Do you offer refunds?
Annual plans get a pro-rated refund on the unused portion when you cancel.
What if I'm already a paying customer at an older price?
You keep it. Every existing paid subscription is frozen at the price and entitlements you signed up with — indefinitely. You'll see a small "Legacy" badge in the dashboard.
